The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on December 19, 2025, notified the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Second Amendment Regulations, 2025 further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008.
The following has been stated: -
•In Regulation 4, in sub-regulation (b), after the words “connecting hose”, the word “to” shall be substituted with “and”.
•In Schedule-1A, under the heading “Material Specifications”, at the end, the following sub-heading shall be inserted, namely: “Consumer Appliance Domestic Gas Stoves using PNG as fuel shall conform to IS:17153.”
They shall come into force on December 20, 2025.
